Since 1984 I have traveled to Asia dozens of times. No matter how many times I visited, I was always fascinated by the cultures, history, and the variety of products available. Many of these products are unique to a certain geographic area such as mushrooms and herbs. Other products are the results of intensive research and development.

Many of the Asian products I discovered are related to health, beauty, nutrition, and personal care. Ginseng and green tea are well known to American consumers but not the herbal supplement developed in Taiwan to help prevent osteoporosis and bone ailments. Another product unknown to the market is a vegetable collagen moisturizing mask manufactured by a Japanese pharmaceutical company. Special diet teas, alternative medicine, health food, and various other products in Asia exist that many consumers are not familiar with.

During my business travels I was often asked by companies to introduce and sell their products to American consumers. Some of these companies are small and may only have one outstanding product. An idea came forth and that was to develop Shop Asia Now.
