Face to Face with Wilson's Disease and an Organ Transpant
I've created this site for a two purposes, 1. To provide natural supplements and products to help you feel better each day through Mind, Body & Spirit. And, 2nd, MOST importantly for my daughter Nicole.

In October of 2006, Nikki unexpectedly went into acute liver failure. We learned a few weeks after her liver transplant that she had suffered from a genetic disorder called Wilson's Disease. We had no clue she was even ill, until it was almost too late. Her symptoms only presented 4 days before going into liver failure.

Wilson's Disease effects the liver and the body's ability to process copper. Over 17 years of not processing copper resulted in her liver simply shutting down, quite rapidly might I add.
From one Saturday to the next, she went from being a perfectly normal 17 year old to being extremely fatigued with jaundiced eyes and skin, then a few days later being placed on the Liver Transplant List. By the grace of God a new liver became available within just 3 hours of her being listed.

Nicole is on the road to recovery and recovering extremely well. She has returned to complete her Senior Year of High School this year, and has decided she wants to go into the field of Nursing so she can help others as so many had helped her.

I launched my original site www.CranfordsCountryCollectables in January 2007 to help with medication co-pays and now a Nursing school tuition so Nicole can realize her dream. Since then, the Natural Supplement area of the business has blossomed.

Over the past 20 years many have told me I should sell my photos, and crafts which was a great start for me. I've learned that I can positively touch many more people by providing great natural products at fair prices.

In July I was introduced to ITV Ventures and became an Independent Business Owner through their organization. This allows me to offer all of their nutritional supplements on my site, many of which I use myself. The ITV product line has had a great impact on helping our family keep our heads above water.
