Quercetin & Bromelain
Quercetin is a plant-based nutrient (phytochemical) found naturally in apple skins, onions, tea and red wine. It belongs to a class of flavonoids called flavonols, which are powerful antioxidants that protect the body from harmful free radical molecules.
In addition to antioxidant properties, studies show that quercetin may be helpful for allergies. When allergens are absorbed into the bloodstream, they cause B cells (white blood cells) to produce billions of molecules of the allergic antibody IgE. These molecules combine with mast cells and biophils, which are storehouses for histamine. Cell membranes weaken and histamine is released, causing allergy symptoms such as runny nose, itchy eyes, wheezing, etc.
Quercetin helps stabilize mast cell membranes, preventing the release of allergy-symptom-causing histamine into the bloodstream. It's also known to inhibit the formation of leukotrienes, which are associated with symptoms of asthma. For best results, quercetin should be taken daily during allergy season, or year 'round, as a preventative measure.

My mother has been taking this product for about 2 months now and has not seen a huge change in her allergies, nor any improvement as the product label has stated she would. In my opinion, this product does not work, and should not even be called a great product. I would not recommend this product to anyone who expects quick results and relief from allergies, as this product does not have great results.

I suffer from severe allergies to pollen, among other things. This product has helped me a lot ,as I love gardening. No longer do I have watery eyes, running nose or sneezing. I still use this product and will continue to use it. The price was a bit too expensive though.

My husband has suffered from hay fever for many years including miserable bouts with sneezing, watery eyes and runny nose. This amazing product has helped almost completely eliminate these symptoms, and allows him to continue to teach in the classroom without the drowsiness that traditional allergy medicines cause. Definitely a winner!
