My husband and I have used the Puritan's Pride lysine for many years. We take one tablet a day to suppress fever blisters. I am a firm believer that it will help prevent fever blisters from forming. Occasionally due to stress, illness, or sun exposure a fever blister will try to form and we just double our dose of lysine to get it under control. I will not let myself run out of this product.
