Lysine booster

I started taking Lysine when I read that it could help prevent cold sores. I have found that if I take a tablet at the first feeling/tingle of a cold sore it greatly reduces the severity of the cold sore, and how long I have it. On occasion I can even prevent an outbreak if I take it twice a day at the first sign. The tablets do have a little bit of an unpleasant taste, slightly bitter, but not too bad. I can handle the taste to stop a cold sore.
