L-Lysine

I have been using Spring Valley L-Lysine since 1978. It had been recommended to me for some break outs on my face that I did not want in my highschool pictures. This product cleared it up in a couple of days. I have also used it before having wisdom teeth pulled. Dentist said the site had healed faster then he ever seen. I have recommended it to many friends who were going in for surgery or to have teeth pulled. It is a wonderful agent to help with healing. I would not go without.

I use these to add in stopping cold sores. If I start taking them as soon as you feel a cold sore coming on, it will stop it from ever popping up.

My mom gets cold sores pretty frequently, and someone had suggested that she take Lysine pills to help with them. It is supposed to help prevent them as well as shorten the time to heal when she does get them.
