Great for canker sores

I have used L-Lysine for years but found TwinLab brand to be both affordable & effective. As soon as I feel like I might be getting a canker sore, I start taking it 2-3 times per day. It usually works immediately & the sore gets smaller & goes away. I have also taken this product when I've had a bad cold to prevent coldsores & it worked great. Definitely will purchase again.

Easy prevention of cold sores

I started taking this product on a recommendation from a friend after she heard me complaining of the cold sores I was chronically developing. Research has shown that L-Lysine supplements can help boost your immune system enough to stave off outbreaks. It's now been a just under a year since I started taking these capsules on a nightly basis and I'm happy to say I've been cold sore free in that time. Was it the L-Lysine or just good luck? Well, I can't say for sure, but I'm not going to stop taking them anytime soon to test it out!

The capsules are a bit on the big side and the coating can get gummy if you're not a quick swallower. But really, those are the only negatives to this product.
