I use these to add in stopping cold sores. If I start taking them as soon as you feel a cold sore coming on, it will stop it from ever popping up.

My mom gets cold sores pretty frequently, and someone had suggested that she take Lysine pills to help with them. It is supposed to help prevent them as well as shorten the time to heal when she does get them.
