This is a good brand. Always use the capsules and never the press tabs. ALA is delicate and needs to avoid heat and light. I am diabetic and ALA helps immensely. It does take a week or two to see and feel the benefits as it needs to cycle in to take effect. It also helps with weight loss.

I was taking this with L-Carnitine berfore, but did not really "feel" or "see" the results.
However, I only had one bottle, so if you keep taking it you might see something different.
