Vitabase ALA/ALC is a powerful combination of Acetyl-L-Carnitine and Alpha Lipoic Acid. Much research has been done in recent days on the ability of this combination to slow the aging process and reduce oxidative stress.

ALA (alpha-lipoic acid) is an antioxidant. In addition to its own ability to scavenge free radicals, ALA helps other antioxidants work better, including Vitamins C and E and glutathione. ALC (acetyl-L-carnitine) is an amino acid closely related to the B-vitamins. ALC’s primary job is helping the cells have enough fatty acids to produce energy.
