After changing work shifts, from midnights to days, I found myself having problems falling asleep! I even got a script from the Dr. for sleeping pills but I really didn't like the way they made me feel the next day. I talked to my brother and he recommended trying melatonin, since it had helped him. There is a Rite Aid just a mile from my house so the next time I was in the store I picked up a bottle. I wasn't able to tell much of a difference the next couple of days, but then, I noticed that I was much more relaxed and able to fall asleep. I really like the idea of taking something natural and not putting drugs in my body. I also like the way I can get a good nights sleep and not wake up feeling groggy the next day.
Didn't really see a difference

After taking this product for about a week, I did not feel any better or worse. This product may work for other people, but it did not work for me. Perhaps I needed more than a week for it to get in my system. It's affordable enough though, so that if you are looking for a way to help you sleep, you might still try it.
relaxing

I have been taking these when I get home from work, and they seem to help me relax and deal with my own teenagers (anything that helps...). I also seem to sleep better than I have in a long time. I have had trouble sleeping for years but never wanted to take a sleep aid which could be addictive. These seem to really calm me down. I'm glad I found them!
MELATONIN

I love this stuff. I was having trouble sleeping when a friend suggested I take this to help with my restlessness. I took it one night and have been a strong believer ever since. I didn't feel tired when I woke up the next day either. It was very easy to fall asleep with melatonin.

I take this product daily. There's a Rite-aid just down the corner from me, so I was so happy to see something like this on their shelves. For the recommended dosage and the amount of tablets that come in it, it is one of the best-valued supplements I take. I take one every night before bed as recommended, and I have found that it does help me relax a bit. Please note that it does not work as a sleep medication, so it shouldn't be used that way. I just feel more peaceful at night and find myself worrying less. I'll often take one instead when I come home from a long day of class or work before I settle down into my nightly routine. A bottle like this should last any person almost a year. No household should go without.
