Burt's Bees Baby Bee, Apricot Baby Oil

This is a great product! I add a small amount to the bath water for my baby, and it moisturizes her entire body. (It is much easier than applying lotion). Her skin is very soft all day and she has had no dryness, even with a daily bath!
I chose Burt's Bee's baby oil as it has natural plant oils; no mineral oil that is toxic; also no preservatives and artificial colors. I try to use and recommend products that are as natural as possible.

Nice but odd smell

I got this in the sample size, and am glad I didn't purchase the full size. It moisturizes well if you use it right out of the shower before drying off, but it doesn't smell like apricots. It has an odd, musty smell that is very off-putting. It's not mild and is unfortunately quite noticeable.

My youngest has eczema so I look for anything that will be gentle on his skin but moisturizing. This apricot oil is terrific. I like to use it myself.

This oil is a perfect replacement for baby oil (petroleum or mineral oil). Mineral oil is a known carcinogen and skin irritant. I would not recommend using any products that contain mineral oil.

Burts Bees does NOT use MINERAL OIL...they use apricot, grape, and wheat germ oils combined with vitamin e and other ingredients.

This product is a GREAT alternative to any mineral oil product. You will pay more, however, you get what you pay for!
