Waste of money and space

Terrible.
Absolutely terrible.
After using it for about a month, all I had was the same acne and red inflamed skin.
THe rest of it was oily and disgusting. I suffer from heavy acne but it was terrible. It was embarrassing, so I had to quit it.
DEFINATELY not worth the money.

I tried Proactiv cause I have mild but stubborn acne. I tried it for 4 weeks and it did nothing except completely dry out my skin so much so that it was flaking! And I still continued to break out. The only thing I liked remotely was the mask. My skin felt soft after I used it, but that's all it seemed to do. What's worse is when you call to cancel, they are pushy and you have to fight with them to cancel your account!
Not perfect/Not bad

The three step system works most of the time; however, I still go thru periods of uncontrollable breakouts. My blemishes are not as deep as they were pre pro-active, and now heal faster. I believe I received the best results in the first 6 months of using this system, but my face feels cleaner and healthier with this product compared to other facial cleansers. The mask truely works though and would suggest trying it.
Not Exactly

Proactiv worked for me for the first 6 months, but after that it seemed to loose it's power. Could it be that I'm 40 and have acne that can't be "cured" by this kind of product?
The face mask however, continues to help. At least it takes most of the red away from flare ups so that my makeup can hide what's left.
After a year of using the 3-steps of Proactive I've had to give it up. The results I was getting just wasn't worth the price, not when I can get similar results from something I buy in the grocery store.

This didn't work. Even when I tried to cancel they offered me the stronger cleanser, which I tried but it didn't work. It is made with salicylic acid instead of benzyl and has scrubby exfoliators which I liked, but it didn't give me results. I'm very oily and wear mineral makeup, the stupid cleanser (normal strength one) didn't even clean the oil off or my makeup. I liked that the toner has glycolic acid. Am now considering Exposed Skin Care, Acnezine, and the AcneNoMore system

I suffered with acne for years. NOTHING worked until I gave proactiv a shoot. WOW what a difference. Within the first week, my skin was even-toned and smooth. I will NEVER use anything else again. This is the magic in the bottle
Best choice for acne relief

I have tried many acne products in the past and none of them can top Proactive. When I used proactive for the first 30 days straight, I saw results within the first 3 weeks. I started to see my skin look clearer. It did not cause any skin irritations at all.
It's been 6 months now and I have not had any new acne bumps at all. The blemishes from the bumps are fading away as well.
I do recommend this product to anyone who has severe acne.
Great Product

If your skin responds well to benzoyl peroxide, then this will work great for you. I like this product a lot because it does not burn at all. It also cleared up my face after a few weeks of treatment. Although my face wasn't too horrible to start with, I still use it everyday in the morning.

Now it’s my 6th week on ProActiv and my face is CLEAR CLEAR CLEAR!!!!! When I first started to use ProActiv solution I didn’t get QUICK results. On my 3rd week on ProActiv my face cleared maybe about 50%…But now like I said it’s my 6th week on ProActiv and my face is so CLEAR!! I almost wanted to give up on the 4th week because I wasn’t getting fast results then suddenly the pimples just shrank, turned into a light brown spot, and faded away! If you have mild/moderate acne and don’t want to go to the Derm. Then try this solution!

I have been using this product for 2 months now to treat my pregnancy acne. This is a great product that was giving me results within 2 weeks. It seems to work best when you use the cleanser, toner, and repairing lotion together. It was not harsh on my skin and did not cause any drying or redness. I am 34 which is a little older than the age group the product was made for but it still works well. I still have breakouts every so often but Proactive has improved the overall look of my skin. The only thing I did not like about the product was the smell. It does not have a bad smell at all. I just prefer products that have a clean smell to them.
