by jess a

not to sure how many vitamins they are actually getting . didnt use them very long

whole family
by Carole

I give these to my whole family what an easy way to give them all vitamins on a busy morning and we like the flavors too. Real easy to take and pop one in your mouth and go.

Love these
by Margo LaRue

I have three daughters who I have tried many vitamins with. These were a big success. I even noticed that if I skipped giving them to my girls, they woke up very sluggish. I feel so good knowing that my kids are getting the vitamins and minerals they need and they are affordable too. I definitely recommend them.

Eww..
by Carol

I bought this for my daughter and they looked yummy, so I decided to try one. Bad idea.

They were hard and, after chewing it for a few seconds, it tasted horrible.

No. Don't waste your money.

Vitaballs
by suedders

I have a three year old who absolutely loves them..when the flavor is gone she throws them in the trash. She does really well with them, and i didnt think they were overpriced what so ever...some of the vitamins are overpriced. First time buying the vitaballs and i love it for myself as well!

Ok, not the best.
by JoDean Roberts

I think they are badly priced. Ours were priced at $12 and some change. They were really hard too. I had gotten them originally for my 3 year old thinking she would be able to chew these, but that didn't happen. I ended up giving them to someone else. Good idea, just needs some improvement.

Never again.
by JJ

I bought this because I thought it would be a nice alternative to gritty, chewable vitamins. I got it for my seven year old daughter. I paid $30, figuring 100 gumballs, 1 a day, would last three months, $10 a month. My daughter tried it and said it was too hard and she didn't like the taste. So I ultimately wasted $30.

Kids Love Them!
by Kasandra

Kids love these vitamins! A child I give vitamins to used to argue non-stop with me about taking her vitamins. I bought these and she never argued again! In fact, I had to hide the vitamins because she'd want more "gum" later in the day! It's great for kids who are old enough to chew gum and it makes parents feel good knowing their child is getting their vitamins every day.

Not good
by mommyof2

My daughter did not like these. She always spit them out. I was afraid she would choke on them too. I wouldn't reccomend these for kids under 5.

My kids love Vitaballs!!!
by Kim

I am so glad that I finally gave in and decided to purchase the Vitaballs for my children. I know my children don't get all the vitamins they need by what they eat , but I know when they take a Vitaball they do. My kids like the fact that they chew it like regular gum and it doesn't leave a nasty taste in your mouth. As for the price the Vitaballs do cost more, but that's not my concern. Knowing my children are getting the vitamins they need is what matters the most!

Great IDea
by DAV92683

This is a great idea for parents out there who want to keep their kids healthy. My nephew loved these since he thinks it is just candy. He always asks for it. We try to limit his intake by only giving him one a day. This is a great product.

inventive product
by S. Lee

Getting my 7 year old to take her vitamins can be difficult at times. My friend suggested that I look into these Vitaballs as an alternative. I like that it comes packaged as gumballs. They come in flavors my child likes. The only drawback is the price. I will stock up when there is a sale.

Vitaball
by Jody Hess

This vitamin is excellent, my 2 boys just loved it. They used to fight with me everyday about taking vitamins as they tasted awful. They love the Vita ball they said it's just like candy and always ask for more.

My kids love this
by Gb

My kids don't like to eat a lot of healthy stuff. I saw this in the store one day and bought it. I put it in a bag so the kids wouldn't see that it was a vitamin, and they loved it. They take this every day before school. They ask me in the morning to get the gum for them. This was a very good idea for a product, and my kids love it. I sometimes even have it too.

My Kids Love Them!
by Tonya

I have a 12 and 7 year old and both of them love these vitamins. It was very difficult to get them to take most chewable vitamins so these were a great alternative. Now they ask "me" if they can take their vitamin.

They are great tasting, easy to chew, and provide 100% of 11 essential vitamins
by sarai

My oldest daughter Hailey has this thing about things that are good for her. If I tell her it's good for her, she wants nothing to do with it. I don't know if it's her age, or, if it's just all kids in general. What I do know is that trying to get her to take a vitamin is like waging war. If she knows it's a vitamin, she refuses to take it. When I saw the commercials for Vitaball Vitamin Gumballs I knew I had to purchase them. Hailey loves gum, and I knew a gumball would certainly get her attention. Turns out I was right!

~*~How Much & Where?~*~

I found our tub of Vitaball Vitamin Gumballs, containing 36 gumballs at our local Wal-Mart for $5.99. You can also find this product online and at many drugstores and discount stores, varying in price. Also, if you visit the vitaball website you can purchase your favorite flavor in a canister for $19.99. That's a bit steep for us, especially since Hailey loves every flavor!

~*~It's A Vitamin...It's A Gumball...It's A Miracle!~*~

Yes, it's a vitamin, a gumball and a miracle all rolled into one. These little gems are great. Each tub contains a silver resealable foil pouch containing individually wrapped gumballs. The tub also has a resealable plastic top. Just as the name indicates, this vitamin is an actual gumball. It isn't cleverly designed to look like one, it is one.

As Vitaball states, it's "A Whole New Way To Take Your Vitamins! Each gumball contains 100% of 11 essential vitamins. In each pack you get four different colors and flavors. Pink, Purple, Green and Red. Each gumball has a different flavor, all of them are sweet and tasty to chew. You get Watermelon (green), Grape (purple), Bubblegum (pink) and Cherry (red). My favorite so far is definitely the watermelon! My daughter loves them all, and has yet to pick a favorite flavor.

You get a full daily dose of vitamins by simply chewing one Vitaball for just 5-10 minutes each day! Vitaball is for adults and children over five years of age. One gumball is all you need for adults and children. When I saw the dosage directions on the package I waited to purchase them until I could call my daughter's pediatrician. She's 3 1/2, so I was worried about giving these to her. However, he told me that the gumballs would be perfectly fine for her age, under supervision of course. Vitaball recommends older than five because of the size of the gumball itself. I simply cut the gumball into four pieces and give them to her piece by piece.

So easy but,
by Jessica D

I liked how easy these were at first, until I realized they were a major choking hazard. I do not recommend this for three year olds! They think they are food, and don't spit them out when they get stale, and it can cause them to choke when they swallow the chewed piece.

Fun and tasty!
by Karla

I use these because I don't care for pills. They are tasty and it's a neat idea for vitamins to be in a gumball. Yeah, the price isn't cool, but it does come with 100 gumballs. I feel like I'm getting my daily dose in a yummy way!

DON'T BUY
by Kathleen Marler

My children did not like them! We thought that this would making taking vitamins easy, it did not. Plus, I did not like the thought that if they had liked them, maybe they'd climb up into the cabinet and eat a whole bunch. Plus, try explaining to little ones the difference between gum that's a vitamin and gum that's a treat. This goes the same for the gummy vitamins.

Great Kid Friendly Product!
by Ali

Everytime I walked by the vitamins, my children asked me to try this! I finally gave it a try and they now ASK me for thier vitamin everday. No More begging them to take their vitamin!

Nice product
by Jordan

There are a good variety of vitamins in each Vitaball. Not as many as most standard multi-vitamins, but if your kids eat a healthy diet, it should be more than adequate. Also, notice that the vitaball does not go crazy making every single vitamin contain 400% of everything! This is good because overdosing on vitamins is unhealthy! I just wish they were sugar free.

I Tried Them Mself
by C. Matchett

I received a free month sample of these in the mail to try. My husband, my 5 year old daughter and I tried one out. After about 5 minutes of trying the gumballs, we were all bouncing off the walls. I don't know if it was the sugar or the vitamins, but this is not something I want to continue to give my child. I think I will just stick with Flintstones.

Vitamin gum balls
by Debb

Neither of my 2 kids liked the taste of the gum balls. I have sneaked them to them as gum and it is always a "no go". I wish they tasted a bit better so they would eat them.

I Couldn't Believe It
by Sharon

When I purchased these for my son, I originally thought that this will be great! He loves gum and hates the chewable version of vitamins. We all know how difficult it is to get kids to eat all of the correct foods that they need for valuable nutrients. The first time he tried one he immediately went to the garbage can and spit it out. He refused to try it again. Now every time he goes to the doctor and is prescribed a medication, he tells her not to make it that " nasty, horrible tasting stuff like the vitamin gum."

Great vitamin
by Phil Young

This is the best vitamin idea ever. My son loves to take his vitaball and I take one ever day also to get my vitamins. The ball tastes just like candy so its great for everyone to take and get their daily vitamins

I liked them
by Cathy

Got them as a sample a few years ago. I think they taste better than the chewable ones. They don't loose their taste fast. You know when you have chewed it long enough as it starts to get hard to chew. I think they are great for kids, teens, and adults. If you don't like taking pills then gives these a try.

Skip it
by Jennifer Bell

I thought the boys would like these, but two of them didn't like half of the flavors, and the little one just wanted to chew because he was happy he got "gum". I tried one and it isn't as sweet as most gum and I can't even bribe the kids with them They are entirely too expensive, too.

Vitaball
by Dorene

This is the easiest way I have found to get my kids to take their vitamins. They love to chew gum so i carry these around in my purse and in the car and whenever they ask for gum I give it to them. They love the taste and I love the fact that they are getting the vitamins they need.

Just average
by Laura

Great concept, especially if you don't like taking regular pills or have difficulty swallowing the larger multivitamins. The down side is that the flavor is a little off, and even that doesn't last very long. I think with some tweaking this product could be terrific. For now, it's just average.

hmm...weird
by danielle

I think this was an amazing idea, but the taste is awful. My son loves gum so I thought this was a good product. But my son didn't like most of the flavors.

Vitaball
by carolyn

I recently saw this on T.V., so I thought I would try it, because my kids wouldn't eat any vitamins I tried to give them, and didn't eat the healthy foods they needed. So I tried this item and they absolutly love them. Not only did they taste good, they could have fun with them by blowing bubbles!

Not so good
by Trisha

I got these for my kids just to switch things up a bit. My youngest chewed it but didn't like it. My oldest spit it out almost immediately. I feel like they were on the right track with this idea but needed more time to get the taste just right.

Average
by km

Although my kids did like these, they are still a little too young for gum-type products. They wanted to take them several times a day but, of course, they couldn't. They said they didn't like the taste that much and I think they were more interested in chewing gum since I do not let them have gum.

I have a bottle left
by Patricia

Clipping coupons gives me the opportunity to try different products. This is one I should have skipped. The grandkids hated them, so I tried one. they are horrible.

Great
by Annie

This product is a gumball with vitamins packed in it. It was easy to feed to the older kids and they were more inclined to take it thinking it was candy rather than vitamins. It was a hit with the kids and now they take it everyday. It also is not as sweet as regular gum making it perfect for the kids to take on a daily basis.

Doesn't seem to be real
by SHAH

These taste like regular, cheap, vending machine gumballs. The flavor lasts a good 10 seconds before it tastes like rubber. The chalky, vitamins come seeping out with the first bite. Any kid who takes this will probably spit that out in a second before sticking the gumball in some nasty place. Do not get this if you want a clean home, or a child with gum-less hair.

Neat idea, but not for me
by Mindy

I decided to try the Vitaballs when I noticed them at the store. When I gave them to my boys, they chewed them for awhile, but then they spit them out. They didn't care for them like they do our Flintstone Vitamins. They do come in a variety of colors and flavors, but my kids did not enjoy them too much.

Tastes bad
by cheryl

My granddaughter hates Vitaball. I bought some for her, thinking she would love them since she likes chewing gum. She says they don't taste good, so I just wasted my money.

Vitaball Your Mileage May Vary
by Lisa

While Vitaball does not contain as many vitamins and minerals as other brands, they are exceptional at getting kids to take them. My older children will eat these on a regular basis but think the chewable vitamins are for “babies”. My younger children on the other hand want more than one a day and do not seem to understand that too many are bad for you so it was a constant struggle when we tried these. They are also a little pricey. I would recommend these for the older crowd if you feel that your tween is not getting enough nutrients from their diet. But feel that they are too much of a hassle for the younger kids.

smell horrible
by Tammy R.

I bought these and they were not eaten by any of my three kids. They have a horrible vitamin smell, not what a kid wants from a piece of gum. They didn't care for the taste either.

Not too bad
by Samantha

For kids who love to chew gum these can be handy. They are not the best vitamins available and will likely encourage your children to chew any type of gum more often. Recommended for children above 8 or so for safety reasons.

Good but expensive
by Nikolas M

I gave these a 3.5 mostly because of price, I realize that this is a multitasking vitamin and gum in one. However, its was just to costly for a kids vitamin. Although these are kids vitamins we bought these for my wife, who was pregnant. Food taste, kids loved them but they cost too much.

stick with a better vitamin
by J

I give my child Flintstones vitamins because they contain more essential vitamins than Vitaball. While I was on vacation visiting my sister for a weekend with my son, I forgot my son's vitamins at home. She offered him one of her son's vitamins, a Vitaball. After reading the container, the next day I went out to the store to buy a box Flintstones. I didn't like the idea of my son chewing on something with that amount of sugar (which can cause cavities) just to recieve less vitamins than he would from his regular vitamin. I'll definitely pass on these.

Not as good as Flintstones
by Donia

These vitamins are creative but according to my son, and 3 of his cousins who have tried them, don't even taste very good. My son said it tastes like medicine which is what they should not taste like.
Also, these vitamins are lacking in many of the vitamin nutrition you will find in other vitamins like say Classic Flintstones vitamins. These don't have nearly as many vitamins in them and cost more too. This is not a good deal for the money or for the kid appeal either!

Low on vitamins and taste!
by Barb W.

My pre-teen was excited about trying these and I thought why not? Until I got the package home and actually read the label. With 11 vitamins and no other nutrients, they aren't nearly worth the cost. Out of curiosity, I tried one and yuk! I guess it's hard to hide the vitamin taste in a gum ball, it was bitter and not very appealing. My pre-teen liked the taste a bit more than I did, but not enough to regularly take the vitamins and we wound up throwing out half of them. Basically you are paying for packaging - though it is a step above chewing regular chewing gum in nutrients. Overall, I do not recommend wasting your money on this product.

So Convenient!
by Ellisha

I love these. They are so convenient! I keep some in my desk, my purse and in my car. I chew them whenever I want a piece of gum!

Never Again
by Mary

My daughter really wanted these. First we got a free sample and she liked them a lot so I bought them. For a while it went really well she took her vitamin everyday without a problem. Then I noticed she was avoiding them. I asked her why and her response was "they taste icky, please don't make me take them." Well as a good mom does I said "they aren't that bad and it is only once a day." I popped one in my mouth and I'll tell you this is exactly why adult vitamins are not chewable...."they taste icky."

Eh.. Could be better.
by Bradley

I was visiting my family one day and my little niece had a bottle of Vitaball's on the counter. I asked what they were and if I could try one.

Seemed pretty healthy and looked good. So I took one. It was good for about the first minute, then the good and sweet taste, turned into a hard plastic taste.

I went to go spit it out then. I've seen commercials for these and quite contrary to the packaging, these Vitaball's don't taste as good as they look.

Kids love them
by Celeste

I was finding some of the traditional kids vitamins under the couch etc. My kids always finished these and the contents were the same as other popular vitamins.

My Vote is: Vitaball is 1 To Avoid
by Yvonne Werda-Woodstock, C.Ht.

I give them 2 stars. 1 for creativity in getting kids to take vitamins. 1 for the 11 vitamins they do have.

As far as we are concerned, the rest is negative. I didn't buy these myself, because when I read the label in the store, I noticed that they ONLY have 11 vitamins, compared for example to Flintstone Complete's 20! PLUS they have NO minerals at all, including No Calcium which is very vital to growing children's bones and teeth etc.! Plus, that high price for such a little bit of nutrition, I thought they were a joke. The kids would get more nutrition from a bowl of junky sweet cereal that is enriched with vitamins.

WE DID TRY THEM though, when we were visiting my cousin. She had them for her kids and my kids wanted to try one. I figured as a treat instead of a regular piece of gum, fine. They made faces and didn't think it tasted like the treat they were expecting. So I guess they don't give them high marks either.

Parents may also want to consider when making a choice for or against these for their kids, the fact that they have a LOT of artificial colors in them.

They have 4 GRAMS OF SUGAR PER GUMBALL! That is close to a teaspoon!

Finally, please take note that they Can be a choking hazard for kids under 5.

We ALL want to give vitamins to our kids to HELP them NOT hurt them.

Yummy
by Caitlin

These are great to get your kids to take their vitamins! They are fun and taste good and give your kids their vitamins! What could be better?

not as good as the real thing.
by Amanda

Along with many changing fads, I let my son try Vitaballs. Before I purchased them, I made him promise that he would actually eat them because I wasn't going to throw them away like other vitamins that he had to have. Though he says they don't taste like real gumballs like they claim, he is about half way through the container. My biggest complaint about Vitaballs is that the gum is really sticky. It is always a hassle having to clean up the gum when my son misses the trashcan when spitting them out.

Works good
by Kim

My oldest son loves these. He used to take Flintstones vitamins along with my other two sons but he asks for these now instead.

What a Great idea!!!
by Jaime

Both of my kids like to take their vitamins now. I even tried one, just to make sure they tasted good, before my kids tried them. They really taste great, just like candy. I am very happy with my Vitaballs and am thankful someone thought of them.

Okay..but not great
by dee

My son loves candy, actually who's child doesn't. So I bought the gum vitamin for him to help me in getting him to take his vitamins. While this seems like a great idea and an easy sell to children, my son hates the taste of these. He says that they are not "candy" and while I did tell him after that they were good for him, the taste makes him spit them out right after he pops them in his mouth.

Not sure about this product
by Amanda Rhoads

My kids hated these when they tried them. It was when they first came out so maybe the formula has changed since I see such good reviews. I also never bought them again because my boys, at the time, where under six years of age so they couldn't take them.

Great idea
by Tiffany

My son loves gumballs and I bought him a gumball machine especially to hold his Vitaballs (he thinks that they are "normal" gumballs). Now when he asks for one, I can say yes with no afterthought.

Vitaball
by Sylvia Brewer

My grandchildren did not like to take vitamins until they took vitaballs. Now, we have no trouble with them taking the vitamins.

Chewing Vitamins
by Joanne Benham

I never really cared for the idea of chewable vitamins because I worried about the children thinking they were candy. I always made sure my children ate two good meals a day while they were in school. I just couldn't control lunch. But, worrying about the crazy schedule of my grandchildren, the haphazard meals they ate, and all the extracurricular activities, I finally broke down and bought them some Vitaballs. Even the pickiest of the children will take them and I feel a little better, knowing they're getting the vitamins they need.

My children love these.
by Laura Frost

These gumballs are great for my kids because they love gum. So naturally they are getting all their vitamins in just one simple gumball. Vita-ball was very creative in making these for kids.

A Big Chew
by Kenna McHugh

My daughter is not too excited about this vitamin gum. She didn't like the size of it. Although, I have heard other mothers talk about it in a positive way. They say it's a great way to get their kids to take vitamins and, it is fun to chew.

A Good Idea
by Chrislyn

I prefer this gum to traditional gum that is loaded with sugar. You have to be careful about your children getting into these and eating them like candy though. My sons wouldn't chew the gum as long as 5 minutes and complained of an aftertaste.

love them!
by Grace

I know everyone's tastebuds differ, but I can't even tell there are vitamins in this gum. I do love the taste of health, though.

I chew these along with my kids. We actually race to grab the last one. I highly recommend this product. They taste like regular gumballs. You can blow bubbles and everything.

I can say, however, that i hated the blue razzberry flavor...
