Fish Oil For Better Heart Health

My doctor recommended that I take Fish Oil to maintain good heart health. I have found Puritan's Pride products good and affordable.
The softgels are what I suggest because they are easier to swallow. I have found if you take them with food, they are less likely to disagree with an empty stomach. I will continue to purchase this product as I will be taking them on a daily basis.

My husband and I have been taking Puritan's Pride Omega-3 Fish Oil softgels for about a year now. We are not big fish eaters but know how we all need to have omega-3 fatty acids in our diet. This is an easy way to get the nutrients we need without eating fish and having a fishy taste in your system. We do eat salmon and tuna fish but not very often. One of the benefits of this fish oil softgel is that our cholesterol levels have decreased and the good cholesterol levels have increased. Plus it has made an improvement in our knees, they are less achy and stiff and we believe it's from these softgels. We will keep taking these to keep healthy.

Omega-3 fatty acids are key to heart health, and if you don’t eat much fish, or don’t have the courage to down spoonfuls of cod liver oil, then this is the civilized way out. One capsule a day provides an amount of EPA/DHA that exceeds the minimum experts recommend you have.

My mother swears that when she was pregnant with my brother, she had cravings for salmon and ate it each and every day. Now, this could just be me being silly, but my brother is one of the healthiest, most intelligent people that I know, and I always chalked it up to the fact that he was loaded with Omega-3 fatty acids before he was even born. Needless to say, when I was pregnant with my son, I took a prenatal vitamin that was loaded with Omega-3 fatty acids!
Anyway, I felt so good while taking those vitamins that afterward, I decided that I needed to work Omega-3 into my diet somehow. The problem there was that I've never been much of a fish eater, so thank goodness for this product! I take one in the morning and one at night, and they really do wonders for your health!

I was told to take this when it was determined that I had high cholesterol.This helps by increasing the "good" fats which help eliminate the bad. This is a great product at an affordable price. It's something we all need to add to our diets.
