A good supplement...

Although this is not the best brand I've tried, I seem to have to take a higher dose than recommended to get the same results that other brands give. That said, it is still an effective supplement to relieve cramps and even irritability associated with that time of the month. I take it starting a few days before my period is scheduled to start, and stop taking it on the last day of my period. I started taking evening primrose oil about four years ago, and it works well enough that I am still taking it (and will continue to do so). The one advantage of this brand is that it's GNC, so you can buy it while shopping at the mall instead of making a special trip to the natural foods store.
Relief from PMS

I generally get pretty bad cramps and achy muscles for 4 or 5 days before my period, but taking Primrose Oil helped ease the pain. I would recommend this product to anyone with any kind of discomfort before your period.

Evening primrose oil is essential for women during periods. I take it during my period each month to ease the pain. My doctor suggested that I take this product. It is a good supplement of diet too. I really recommend this product to everyone.

Evening Primrose Oil is one of the classic supplements recommended by doctors to ease PMS symptoms. While it can definitely help, it can also have an effect on your estrogen levels, so you should check with a doctor if you take this and anything weird happens to you.
If you are fine (which is most women) then things could get a lot easier on you each month!
