From the Manufacturer:
For centuries, EPO has been used to provide nutritional support for women with premenstrual syndrome (PMS); it may also play a role in promoting smooth, healthy-looking skin.** These easy-to-swallow softgels are a natural source of GLA (Gamma Linolenic Acid). Our EPO contains one of the most biologically active forms of this Omega-6 fatty acid available today. The EPO used for Puritan’s Pride is 100% pure, solvent free, cold pressed and void of hexane and other solvent residues.

For my father's Psoriasis by Cassandra

My father has suffered from Psoriasis all his life. He's used the medicated creams and lotions and taken all kinds of medicine.
I learned of evening primrose oil through internet research. We purchased a couple of bottles through Puritan's Pride (a *great* company, by the way). Rather than swallow the pills, my father pierces them with a needle and applies the oil to the affected areas. The relief he's found is amazing. The dryness is relived, the itching goes away, and the peeling has improved significantly.
This method may not be a "labeled" use for this product, but I like to see someone tell my dad that -- he's one satisfied customer!!
Wonderful value by Melissa

Puritan's Pride has great products! I purchased these to treat my PPD, and these have worked wonders. The quality of the oil is great, and I really like that there aren't alot of "extra" ingredients added.
