Increases immune system response

I purchased some of the capsules myself from Puritan's Pride when the cold season started and took the supplement for over two months this past year. I did see some improvement in my immune response when we were all exposed to a particularly severe case of flu just before Christmas vacation. My fellow car-pool friend and co-worker did not come down at all with the bug, although most of the staff were coughing and sneezing, and even though I did get sick, it only lasted a few days and I seemed to experience much less aching, phlegm production, and runny nose than my friends did.
