Catnip
We prepare our Catnip extract from the fresh (undried) leaf & flowering tops of Nepeta cataria plants which are Certified Organically Grown on our own farm without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides.
To assure optimal extraction of Catnip's bioactive compounds, the plants are hand-harvested when in full flower, are cleaned of superfluous stems, and are then thoroughly extracted while still fresh and succulent.

Go catnip extract, hooray!by T. Danger
Certified organically grown catnip extract is the only road to travel-- I can't imagine the floor-scrapings people are trying to pass off as herbal supplements! I used to take a tablet along with my regular vitamins, but have found it is far easier to have a dropper-full mixed in with my aloe and wheatgrass smoothie in the mornings!
