Multi-Purpose, Inexpensive Supplement

Puritan's Pride is one of my favorite and most trusted brands of supplements. I take many of their supplements and have had great results with most.

I started taking Cat's Claw (so-named due to its shape I believe) because of a diagnosis of osteoarthritis. I did not want to take pharmaceuticals, and would just rather go all-natural.

Cat's Claw (Uncaria tomentosa) has strong anti-inflammatory properties, and has really helped with my joints, especially my knees. I have a much easier time doing my low-impact sports, but I try not to overdo it.

Cat's Claw is also said to help with other ailments such as ulcers, STDs, and even cancer. I would do my research before self-medicating for any major illness since leaving it untreated could be dangerous. I know there are studies out there on this, and I would suggest reading up before trying to treat a particular disease/ailment.

The studies on arthritis were pretty clear, and I am glad I decided to try this as opposed to conventional medicines.
