I took this product for quite a few months as an alternative to going on anti-depressants. I wouldn't suggest taking it rather than going for treatment if your case is bad, but I just felt sort of "down" and blue, and was having a little trouble getting my days going. I found that once I'd been on the capsules for about a week, I started to feel more alert and not necessarily happier, but more capable of handling day-to-day existence without getting seriously stressed out.
