As an oncology nurse, many of my patients state that ginger has helped tremendously with their nausea. Can't be beat to combat nausea

This is a super herb for nausea, especially the type experienced from motion sickness such as brought on by boating or car rides over curvy or mountainous roads. I prefer the Puritan's Pride brand for it's high reputation for quality, and the 550 mg. dosage is enough to combat nausea effectively, but is still very safe, even for use during pregnancy. My daughter took the capsules during her first three months of pregnancy with her doctor's approval, and found they worked very well to combat morning sickness. I have been taking the capsules for more than five years, myself, as needed, and depend on them exclusively to ease the nausea and vomiting I experience when we go out on the boat year round, or waterski during the summer.
During the winter months, I also use the capsules for occasional stomach upset and nausea from eating fatty, grease laden foods or foods with a high acid content such as tomato sauces which often irritate my stomach and cause heartburn. I find if I take one whenever we dine out that I don't have to worry as much that something on the menu will cause nausea later. I try to keep some in the glove box of both cars, on the boat, and in my purse and home, as a little one capsule herbal "First-aid Kit" for stomach upset with nausea.
Ginger is said to be an herbal tonic for the entire digestive tract, and is often recommended for "nervous stomach" or heartburn with or without nausea. My husband often takes them before long car trips so as to keep from getting that dizzy and sick to the stomach feeling from driving too long in bright sunlight or in heavy traffic at night from car headlights.
I recommend the ginger root capsules to many of my friends who turn too frequently to more expensive OTC remedies for sick stomach, or spend the day at work popping anti-acid tablets, as this natural herbal product works very well for the nausea often felt from stomach virus or questionable foods, as well as general digestive upset from stress or too much caffeine.
The Puritan's Pride brand of Ginger Root is very economical, much more so than traditional calcium carbonate type products which may cause constipation for some, and diarrhea for others, and months supply are less than half the cost of approximately one week's dosage of prescription suppositories for nausea. Dependable and effective for nausea, safe for the entire family, even the elderly, this product has become a household staple and travel/recreation "necessity" for all of us.Keep it on hand
Whenever I have to visit my in-laws, my stomach gets so upset that I feel all twisted up inside. Needless to say, you can tell my in-laws and I are not fond of each other. So the day before we are going to visit them, I start taking Ginger Root Capsules and am able to cope without having an upset stomach that is tied up in knots. I don't know how it works, but as long as it works for me, I will keep this product on hand in my medicine cabinet.Wonderful Product!
In college, a friend of mine was always sucking on ginger candy. I used to think that it was the weirdest thing until I asked her why she liked it so much. She told me that ginger was great for an upset stomach.
Well, I always had a problem with nerves and whenever I would go for an interview or take an exam, I would find myself in discomfort. I could never find the ginger candy that she was so fond of, but Puritan's Pride has always been a brand that my family trusted, so when I found this product I gave it a try.
It has really made all the difference in the world. As silly as it sounds, suffering from nervousness really put me in constant discomfort and ginger root is, to this day, the only thing that has ever soothed my stomach problems effectively.
For anyone who suffers from nerves or motion sickness, I highly recommend that you try this product. You will breathe a huge sigh of relief!Great for travel
Whenever I travel, on plane or on train, I feel nausea and an upset stomach. Ginger root is the cure for motion sickness. I take these capsules whenever I travel and it works very nicely.Ginger fights morning nausea
I keep this supplement on my kitchen counter and take it regularly as it is a very beneficial supplement to help with nausea, which I almost constantly experience after lying down, usually upon first waking up in the morning. I believe this to be either a symptom of my Meniere's Disease, an balance disorder of the ear, which cause dizziness and nausea, or may be perhaps a problem with my stomach or gallbladder instead. All I am sure of is that it works for me on several levels. Ginger root seems to ease a great deal of that queasy feeling in the early morning and quiets my stomach. I feel less nausea and even less dizzy. Ginger is also very good for the digestion and the stomach in general, and is also known as an aide to sweeter breath as the stomach is a source of many bad breath problems.
