Works well
by Ann

My husband has poor circulation in his hands and feet because of heart medications he takes. When doing some reading in Prevention Magazine I saw it mentioned that Hawthorn Berries would help the circulation of his heart. The doctor said it was safe to try it so he did. He has noticed a big improvement in his hands and feet not being as cold as they used to be. I think it has increased better blood flow to those areas. He had now been taking Nature's Sunshine Hawthorn Berries 450 mg for 8 months and will keep taking them.

Good for the heart
by Lorrie

I did some research on Hawthorne berries and it is very good for promoting a healthy heart and circulation. It increases blood and oxygen to and form the heart and helps to maintain a healthy blood pressure. My husband and I take this to keep our hearts working well and it really does seem to be working. It also sometimes helps with sleeplessness and sore throats, and nervous tension. It does take time though to see the results, it won't happen overnight. But it is safe to use and has no toxic side effects. We have been using Natures Sunshine brand of Hawtrhorne Berries for several years now.

No More MVP

When I was in my 20s, I was told I had a mitral valve prolapse. I used Hawthorn Berries for several years intermittently and had a heart ultasound at age 47. No mitral valve prolapse existed. I give Hawthorn Berries the credit.

No time to make jelly
by Carol Stigger

My grandmother always put dried hawthorn flowers in her homemade apple jelly and said she got the recipe from her great grandmother. She swore it was good for the heart. I don't have time to make jelly, but I am continuing our family's heart-healthy tradition with Hawthorn supplement and an apple a day!

My Dad had a heart attack and was told to go on a strict diet regimen. I asked my Dad to start taking herbal supplements to help him improve his health and this was one of the ones I suggested to him. He went to his cardiologist and was told that these were a good idea and that he had good experiences with other patients who took them.
