We prepare our Cascara Sagrada extract from the bark of Frangula purshiana trees, which is Custom Wildcrafted™ in its wild mountain habitat in the Pacific Northwest. The bark is never fumigated or irradiated.
To assure a mild, non-irritating action, the bark is sun-dried, and is then aged for one year before being extracted.
