A great brand of Kava

I have been taking Kava as a natural way to help with anxiety for several years now, and this is the brand I'm now taking. I used to use tinctures because of the rapid absorption and great results, but I find these capsules work just as well without having to swallow a nasty-tasting liquid! These work so well that when I worked in a high-stress job, my co-workers would stop by my desk and ask for "herbal Xanax". One thing to note, though, is that if you do take Xanax or another prescription anti-anxiety med, you should avoid Kava because of possible serious interactions. But, for those of us who prefer herbs to pharmaceuticals, this is great stuff. I also take it in the evening if I'm having trouble falling asleep, and it helps every time.

Relax!

Kava Kava is very nice for relaxation. It is intended for meditation in the Pacific Islands, and I'm sure if you took enough you could get that feeling, but high doses can be harmful for the liver. I take lithium, so I keep my kava intake to a minimum. At least it isn't too strong, it won't make you pass out or anything.
