Korean Ginseng(In-Saam, man-root) is available in 2 forms. (White and Red) After white ginseng is grown for 4 to 6 years, it is peeled and dried to reduce the water content. White Ginseng is sun dried and may contain less therapeutic constituents. The sun bleaches the root to a yellowish-white color. Ginseng can be found in energy drinks and teas, especially Korean people's favorite, slow cooked chicken soup "Saam- gye-taang."
