Sage is yet another tool in my cold/flu-fighting herbal collection. (I also use astragalus and echinacea + goldenseal.) I use this tincture in hot water to make a "tea", sometimes with honey, and I think it helps a lot for sore and mucous-y throats. Sage is supposed to have strong antimicrobial properties, and a cup of sage tea 2x daily did wonders for me when I started getting a sore throat last month.

I haven't had a chance yet to see if it helps when I'm stressed and working long hours, so I give it 4 of 5 stars.
