Could Not Get Past the Smell Of It

I have had vegetarian made milkshakes that had Valerian in them, and it is relaxing. In the capsule form however, the pungent smell of it was more than I could get beyond. The capsule leaving an aftertaste as well that was difficult to get rid of. I love Puritan's Pride, take so many of their products, have for years, always will. While I firmly believe in the properties, it was the odor of it I could not tolerate on the straight Valerian capsules, to my dismay. If one can get past the smell, I am told by others who take it, it is of great help to relax.

My mom takes Valerian every night to help her fall asleep faster. She finds that taking the capsules are easier than drinking tea (and don't make you have to get up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night). She also takes it during very stressful times, such as Christmas when all the relatives are visiting. It really helps her relax.
