Valerian Root, My Friend

I'm a relatively high-strung person, and easily agitated. I take Valerian Root to take the edge off, and make life easier for me, and anyone around me. Without it, I am nervous, edgy, and I tend to snap at people. My doctor wanted me to take "Valium", but I didn't want to take it, because its touted as "highly addictive', so I tried the Valerian root. It works..I still use it.

I am a high strung person, so finding a herbal remedy to help me relax really became a must as I grew older. It's pretty normal to be hyper when you are young, but being that way after you reach the age of 40 or so is just tiring. Valerian Root does work to calm me down, though I have to be careful to only take one capsule or it will relax me so much that I fall asleep.
