Gave my thyroid a boostby Shauna
This helped jump start my thyroid. I lost weight and had more energy. It did take a while for my hormones to adjust and balance out though, about two weeks.
Was this Review Helpful? Yes No Wild yam- A super anti-inflammatoryby Jenny
Wild yam root has long been used as an anti-inflammatory for conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis. I take it in this lower dosage as it seems to abate some of the more painful symptoms of both psoriatic arthritis and psoriasis itself. Although certainly not a cure for either, wild yam has provided me with some evidence and assurance of it's effacy to help reduce the more painful symptoms of these disorders, but also to reduce redness and swelling present in both. It also has been studied as an aid to the digestive tract, to reduce gas, nausea, intestinal cramping, and bloating as it seems to relax the stomach muscles. Thought to be an effective natural treatment for premenstrual distress and ovarian cramping, many women use it strictly for relief during that time of month. An excellent herbal product, it has many benefits for treating a host of conditions, it's amazing anti-inflammatory properties not the least of which makes it ideal for me.
