Effective for older women with joint/skin issues

When my mom turned 60, she developed a knee joint and hair/skin stiffness problem. She tore her right arm joints twice now. Her surgeon suggested using joint supplements (like MoveFree) combined with MSM to strengthen her joints and he specifically suggested products with pure methylsulfonylmethane and containing 1,000mg or more of MSM.
