I don't think I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking to take zinc to boost their immune system at the onset of cold/flu symptoms. This is only 10mg capsules and you should be taking at least 100mgs while symptoms persist. I did not realize this until I purchased this product. Take 10 pills at a time seemed a little overkill to me. So if you are looking for a zinc product, make sure you get at least 50mg or 100mg dosages. I'm not even sure what good these 10mg pills would do.

zinc 10 mg is just right

I take Nature's Plus zinc because it's the only one I could find in 10 mg doses. I want to take zinc for my immune system and my vision, but I really didn't want to take 50 mg doses, which most seem to be. I also really liked the price of these!

I would recommend zinc to anyone who wants to build strong bones and a strong immune system. Zinc has also been shown to improve eye problems. My husband has glaucoma, so we are very careful of his eyes.
