Boosts Immune System

This is an excellent product for boosting the immune system to fight off colds before they start. There are cold fighters on the market such as Zicam, but if you read the ingredients you will find the active one is actually just zinc!
It's easier and much more pleasant to just take a zinc supplement rather than use a chew or nasal spray that contains the very same thing. I once tried the Zicam chews and although they helped fight off a cold, they also tasted terrible! I very much prefer to just swallow a zinc tablet and get the same results. TwinLab is one of my favorite brands, as they are dependable and these zinc tablets are coated, which makes them much easier to swallow. Some brands have no coating on their zinc tablets, and trying to swallow those can be difficult as they have the dry texture of chalk. These are small and coated, so no problems getting them down with just a little bit of water.


Get over sickness faster

I was getting sick a lot so my co-worker suggested I take zinc. I started to take zinc pills and they seem to be great. My sickness doesn't last and I use them faithfully when I start to get sick. I use them with my daughter also and they work great for her.


Zinc Deficiency is Very Common.

Zinc deficiencies are all too common. Zinc levels in our soils have declined to the point that it is not found in our foods in significant enough amounts. If you have white spots on your fingernails and poor wound healing, you may need a zinc supplement.


Zinc it up!

This is my favorite version of Zinc. Usually, it is in your one-a-day supplements in small doses, but I like the extra boost. 50mg is perfect for me, and zinc is very effective in preventing destruction of your mucous membranes that overuse of nasal sprays can cause.
