I agree the taste (at first) is somewhat hard to swallow, but I continued to take it and a funny thing happened, after only the first week I started liking the taste. Now I can honestly say it taste great!!

Barley Life literally almost chokes me...and yet, I choke it down. It is supposed to be good for you, but if I could get a product in capsule form that tastes okay or is tasteless--which I can!--I highly prefer that form. So, unless you have no taste buds, I would say you are in for no treat when you buy this amazingly potent, terrible-tasting stuff.

Our family took Barley Green for several years until the product was revised and the taste changed. The original product had a fairly bad taste, but the new product's taste was impossible. We discontinued taking it because we could not get past the taste. Other than the taste, I believe the product is very good for getting nutrients from green foods.

I actually like the taste of BarleyLife mixed with apple or grape juice. It took me a while to get used to the taste, but once I did it was something I craved. It also helped boost my energy and helped me through those afternoons lulls that most people experience.

I have used barleygreen and barleylife. I've got to say that I have grown absolutely sick of the taste of both of them. Barleylife is perhaps the worst tasting supplement I have ever attempted to swallow. That being said, I would have to say that it is an effective product if you can get it down.
