I learned about DMAE when I trained on Dr. Perricone's skincare line and have been devoted to it ever since. Of course his branded supplements are over $20, so GNC's is a far better value. It took a few days to work but it did/does make a noticeable difference. I take it starting about a week before a big test, presentation, or the like, just to sharpen my focus and it really seems to help. I didn't notice any of the "anti-aging" benefits, but I keep taking it for the concentration help anyway.
