Generally, edible sea weeds are considered much more nutritious than ground veggitables due to excellent source of minerals from the sea.
Kelp (Fucus vesiculosis) normally contains fiber, protein, carbohydrates, fat, and sugars. Kelp contains from 3% to 45% of the minimum personal requirements of 13 other vitamins and minerals. In all kelp has over 70 minerals, growth hormones, trace elements, enzymes, vitamins, and this includes potassium, magnesium, iron, calcium, and especially iodine.
In Korea, dried seaweed Kelp is very popular. People enjoy fired kelp with sugar as a side dish. It is also used in soybean paste soup seafood noodle soup.
