Naturals red yeast rice is tested for citrinin and is non detectable at 1 part per million. It also uses all organic ingredients and is produced entirely in the United States by Sylvan Bio.
Due to this it was used in the Dr Becker clinical trials that showed its effectiveness.

My husband has had high cholesterol for years. Had surgery last year...had to go off of zorcor for 2 months. He started taking Red yeast Rice and 6 months later his blood test showed the cholesterol levels were lower.The Dr. told him he should keep doing what he was currently doing. His current test, yesterday, is 203. My question is: according to Dr Weil Red Yeast Rice should NOT have citrinin or processed with lovastain, Does this product have this? Thank you

Does the Traditional Supplements Red Yeast Rice contains any amount of lovastain or any other statin derivatives?
