May Prevent Future Eye Disease

Recent studies have indicated that lutein has a role in preventing an eye disease called age-related macular degeneration (AMD), which causes failing eyesight in the elderly. It doesn't cure AMD once it has begun, and will not give anyone better eyesight in general--so don't believe anyone claiming they got better vision at age 25 by taking lutein supplements.

I selected this particular product because it seems like a good value for the money. Does it work? Well ask me in 40 years. As I stated, it aids in preventing FUTURE eye disease... it has no effect on current vision.

I already have really good vision, 20-15 and 20-13, and noticed a difference when I took this product. I can focus more clearly, and there isn't any fuzziness in my vision anymore. I have been on it for 3 weeks now! Great stuff.

I used to wear eye glasses and every year the eye doctor would give me a new, STRONGER prescription, which meant my eyes were getting worse.
So I went to the library and checked out a book on eye exercises written by an eye doctor, and a couple other books on nutrition.

One of the books suggested lutein tablets. Another book suggested eating dark leafy vegetables such as kale. I decided to try the lutein tablets first, I thought they would go down better than the kale.

After a year I went to see my eye doctor. I was pretty excited to see if the lutein was working. To his amazement my vision had improved (after 10 years of getting worse). I told him I what I was taking and he said to keep it up.
