Good eye health

My husband's eye doctor recommended that he start taking vitamins for his eyes as his vision is getting worse. He suggested ones with anti-oxidants to promote healthy eyes and prevent free radicals which cause cell damage in the retinas. So far he is taking Occu-Plus With Lutein by Vitamin Shoppe. They must be working, as he's been taking them almost a year and his eyes are staying healthy. Even his "dry eyes" have improved and they are not as itchy as they once were.

My brother was diagnosed 2 years ago with diabetes and was very concerned with his eyesite. His eye Dr. suggested lutein. He takes 2 capsules each day and so far has had no need for stronger prescription lenses. Thats a lot to say when you have diabetes. His eye doctor is very impressed and he is happy.
