Not the best pre-cold remedy

Emergen-C is really not the go to medicine when you believe you are getting a cold. I would recommend something with more zinc than calcium. I normally don't catch the cold in time to prevent it by using this product, so I'm forced to use elderberry with zinc tablets. You have to take this consistently throughout the cold season for it to even work.
It works like magic

I remember one day while I was working I started to sneeze and cough really bad. I knew I was about to get a really bad cold, but my coworker gave me a pack of Emergen-C and before I left work all the symptoms were gone, I thought this stuff was amazing!!! I always keep a box of them in my office now, and it's pretty cheap!
Good Product

I have taken Emergen-C for about 6 months now. Because of the name, I thought that this was some sort of medication taken to help you get better from a cold and/or flu. I have since learned that it is very useful in helping prevent illness and helps me get through my long work days(8a-7p).
I started using this product after my father recommended it. It did live up to its advertised claims. Gave me energy, felt better and I haven't been getting sick lately. As a bonus, I actually enjoy the taste of this product. I would buy this product again for the reasons previously stated. Only complaint is that it doesn't fully dissolve in water. I have to stir it with a spoon, but I don't always have a spoon readily available.

All in all Emergen-C does a great job of letting you think your actually taking something to prevent a bug from attacking your system. The powder has a very strong flavor, sometimes a bit overwhelming -- even when diluted with more liquid than directed to use. Still the product does have benefits at fighting those nasty cold bugs.

I love the Emergen-C products. They are a great way to add vitamins and minerals to your daily routine. I think the flavor of the product is good and they are very portable. You simply add the packet to a glass of water and watch it fizz. You can even mix with warm water in the winter and drink like a tea. I do normally mix with more water than they call for when drinking cold and it still tastes great.
I keep it stocked at work

I work in an office and bugs travel like wildfire. I keep a constant supply of both Emergen-C and Airborne so that I can take it as soon as I feel something coming on. Emergen-C helps me feel better and get through the work day when I have a cold. I've found it gives me a good energy boost, so I don't take it at night.

I bought this product to use when I began experiencing symptoms of the cold. It's a great source of Vitamin C and tastes great as well. I would recommend this product 100%; the taste is great, and it provides an excellent source of Vitamin C which can give you that extra boost that you need to overcome the cold.

This is an excellent source of supplemental Vitamin C. It tastes great! It not only contains vitamin C, but many other beneficial vitamins and minerals. It is a good "pick-me-up" when feeling under the weather.
