Awesome Prenatal vitamin
24 Customer Reviews
My doctor told me that I was borderline anemic and suggested that I take a prenatal vitamin which has more iron than taking a regular multivitamin. I immediately noticed a difference the first week as I was no longer feeling dizzy and most importantly their prenatal vitamin stopped the nail breakage. Thank God!
Well I found out this week that I am pregnant. What a coincidence because I had been taking Nature's Made prenatal vitamin for my borderline iron and didn't know I was pregnant during that time. I will continue to take this prenatal vitamin throughout my pregnancy instead of going to my hospital to get their prenatal vitamins. Thank you Nature's Made for once again bringing the best scientists together to make an awesome prenatal vitamin.Wonderful Product

This is one of the best prenatal vitamins out there, in my opinion. I had a hard time finding the right one for me, as many of them made me nauseated. I couldn't even get some of them to go down! But Nature Made's prenatal never made me feel sick at all, and they were recommended by my OB/GYN! Overall, a great product, and will buy for future pregnancies!Great product
This is a wonderful product. I actually didn't get sick after taking these prenatals. My ob-gyn also approved these. It was great to know that what I was taking for my baby had everything I needed and all the great benefits. I will buy this product again.Multi-Value

When my wife got pregnant back in the spring of 2003 her mother suggested these. I don't know if it was due to her possibly having pregnancy cravings but she was addicted to these things. She loved them so much that I honestly had to tell her not to take too many because too much vitamin C or pholic acid is bad for the baby. The price is fantastic and the amount fits perfectly. I wouldn't expect any less from Nature Made and they produced no less with these prenatal vitamins. If my wife gets pregnant again we will be sure to go out and buy these once more.Great Vitamins all around
I started taking these vitamins after finding out I was pregnant with my first child, and my doctor suggested I start taking prenatals to get all my nutrients as it would be good for the baby and give me energy.
Shortly after I started taking them through my pregnancy I felt more energized and I think it helped with my morning sickness a bit too. My hair looked and felt healthier. Also it seemed my nails grew faster and stronger.
I took these all through my pregnancy and through breastfeeding for 2 years as I was told it helps with your breastmilk supply. Even after breastfeeding ended with my first child I kept taking them for awhile.
I started taking them again with my second child being born recently and am so happy to feel more energized with two children now. I really recommend this product as it has really helped keep up with them feeling better and looking better.
A drawback is the pills are a bit big for my liking but all around great. I do intend to take this throughout breastfeeding again and during these years I will be using the Nature Made multi prenatal vitamins.Good in a Pinch
I took these for a month while I straightened out an insurance issues that prevented me from getting my RX.
They met "almost" all my RX nutritional values and were a great alternative, at a very reasonable cost. I did tend to get headaches while taking these vitamins, although I was unable to pin point which vitamin contributed. I believe it was the amount of iron in them.Great Product
I started taking Prenatal tablets because I had very low energy level and also wanted to help grow my hair out. I stood in the store and looked at all the prenatal vitamins that were out there and chose the Nature Made ones. I have now been taking them for over 2 weeks now and have had more energy and have noticed that my hair is starting to get thicker as well. I had taken these prenatal vitamins when I was pregnant with my daughter as well. They helped with the morning sickness the best.Good Alternative
I took these before we tried to get pregnant (the doctor told me we should take prenatals at least 2 month before attempting to conceive.) They worked great. No nausea and the doctor approved. After I became pregnant, the doctor switched me to a prescription prenatal because she was more familiar with it. With that said, these were affordable and worked great. I didn't experience any side effects.Good product
I took these before and during my pregnancy with my son. I never felt sick and my doctor never felt the need to give me a prescription for vitamins. I was taking Folic acid with these vitamins and my doctor told me that the extra folic wasn't needed. I had a wonderful pregnancy and a very very healthy baby!!Good price and value
I've been taking folic acid for years, just in case I ever wanted to get pregnant. Now that I am trying to conceive, I thought it would be wiser to switch to a prenatal, just to be safe. Since I've used other Nature Made products, it was the only prenatal I considered to buy. They didn't make me nauseous, but maybe that's because I'm not pregnant yet! However, my ob/gyn prescribed me a different vitamin, one with lots of omega-3's, which apparently is shown to be quite significant in terms of the development of a fetus. I would have continued to take the Nature Made if it were not for my doctor's recommendation, since they are so much more inexpensive than the prescription vitamins.Over-counter
When I became pregnant, I tried the prenatal vitamins from the doctor's office. I could not take them at all. I could not keep a one of them down. They have too much iron for my stomach, so I went in search for an over the counter prenatal vitamin. I was able to keep this down with a full stomach and the only difference between the two was the amount of folic acid..about 200 mg difference.4 stars
I liked the benefits that I felt this product was giving me. However, it was very important that I did not take it on an empty stomach and that I took it just before I went to bed at night, otherwise it made me sick to my stomach.Great Affordable Product !
Having two kids, I have tried both prescription and over-the-counter prenatal vitamins. During my second pregnancy, I had a very weak stomach and these vitamins did not make me nauseous. Also, I have noticed that while some brands can constipate you easily, this product did not have that effect. This product was much less expensive than prescription vitamins and just as effective.Take them before bed!

Prenatal care is extremely important, so taking a good prenatal vitamin, such as this one, is essential to baby's health. This one has 100% of the recommended folic acid, which is the most important nutrient to get during the first 12 weeks as baby is developing. For those people who get nauseated, try taking the vitamin before bed - that cut out most of my morning sickness.
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because my OB/GYN recommended Flinstones Completes, which are less expensive and have everything I needed.Nice product
I had started taking these prenatal vitamins when I was trying for my first baby. It was great. The only thing was that it made me a little nauseated. That's understandable due to the fact that it contains iron. On the whole it was a great product but I had to change to a prescription later on.Less expensive than a prescription prenatal
When we started thinking about having a baby, I started taking these vitamins. They have 100% of the recommended folic acid that is essential for preventing neural tube defects. They did not make me queasy. I also noticed that my hair and nails looked great.
I eventually had to switch to a prescription prenatal because I needed more of certain minerals, but my OBGYN said that this brand is fine for most people. I wish that I could still take them - they are much more affordable than my prescription.Wonderful!
Choking down prenatal vitamins, especially in the early months when your tummy is extra sensitive, can be a real challenge. I found that for myself, the prescribed vitamins were too big and had a funky scent to them, something that triggered my gag reflex during pregnancy. The Nature Made Vitamins were not as large and offered the same benefits, but were much easier to swallow. As for fiber, it is really important to eat very healthy during pregnancy; lots of fruits, vegetables and whole grains will help to bulk up your fiber intake, along with drinking lots and lots of water. This is important to help prevent constipation which can lead to painful hemorhoids. You can also use fiber granules in your water or other prepared foods.Better than taking none at all

I think these prenatal vitamins are okay. Within the first week of taking these vitamins, they made me feel nauseated. I continued to take them for about a month and a half and my body had adjusted to them. They didn't make me feel sick anymore, but, I stopped taking them and started taking prescribed prenatal vitamins. Prescribed prenatal vitamins have the same nutrients as Nature Made prenatal vitamins as well as more nutrients. This product is great and inexpensive for those that can't afford prescribed prenatal vitamins. Nature Made Prenatal Vitamins is far by better than taking no prenatal vitamins at all.Easy on the stomach
I used these when I was pregnant and never had a problem. Had to change from prescription to Nature Made as the prescription ones gave me bloating and these were comfortable to take and easing on the stomach.Loved these!!

I took these with my second pregnancy and they were great. Not expensive, especially since I took prescription prenatal pills my first pregnancy. Highly recommend.A Good Alternative to Prescriptions
When I found out I was pregnant with baby #2, my OB-GYN said that I needed to be taking prenatal vitamins. She suggested I go to the store and just buy the vitamins from there, instead of a prescription. This saved me money, so I was happy about that. I found this brand at our local drugstore and have been very pleased with it!Love Nature Made!

I love Nature Made products. With my first two pregnancies I took an expensive prenatal vitamin. I did not know that you did not have to take them. Nature Made is cheaper and just as good. I totally recommend this product and any Nature Made product. Not as good as prescription

I am 5 months pregnant and started taking these vitamins before my first visit with my midwife/OB office. They worked great for me and offered all of the essential nutrients I needed, however, it wasn't until I started taking prescription prenatal vitamins that I realized some things were missing. If your pregnant and having complications with constipation, or other digestion side effects, a prescription prenatal vitamin is a better choice. It offers extra ingredients that these can't.Great Prenatal!

Nature Made has made a great prenatal vitamin! I took prenatal vitamins with all four of my children, however, only took Nature Made prenatal vitamins with my youngest child...I wish I had known about these vitamins before! Other vitamins made me nauseous after taking them, with or without food. Nature Made Prenatal vitamins were easy to swallow and had no side effects for me. I highly recommend these vitamins!
