From 2001 to 2008 I seemed to be catching every cold, flu, or virus that I was exposed to (perhaps due to stress - I was in grad school at the time and also working). Also, anytime I traveled anywhere, I would catch whatever was floating through the air systems on planes and would arrive home ill with colds, etc, as well. I did my best to take a plethora of various vitamins and minerals, and at one point was taking about 15 different pills - some that were so large I couldn't swallow them - literally. One day I nearly choked when some pills got stuck somewhere on their way down my esophagus, and after that I had trouble swallowing any sort of vitamin / mineral tablet at all.
I did a lot of research online, seeking out a liquid vitamin, as by then I had a nearly pathological fear of swallowing those darned (gigantic, in some cases) vitamin supplements. I wanted something specifically for women's needs, also, as I am entering menopause. I looked at various reviews, and based on these, took a chance on VitaBase's Women's liquid vitamin/mineral formula. This was about 18 months ago.
I am now writing to say that (knock on wood) I have not had a cold or flu for the past 18 months! I have been exposed to most everything going around - at one point my partner was sick with back to back colds and I accidentally used his toothbrush and STILL didn't catch whatever it was he had. I also teach grad school and was exposed to all kinds of illnesses via my students - STILL I did not get sick. I have also now flown once again on a plane and STILL I have not caught a cold or virus while traveling (although I did get food poisoning overseas, but that is not the fault of VitaBase!)
So after 18 months I feel confident writing this review and encouraging any of you reading this to give VitaBase a try. The liquid formula tastes rather nice alone or mixed in juice or water and has made my life so very simple - In addition, I just take a fish oil supplement now, versus the 20 other things I used to have to take, which are all included in the Women's liquid formula.
Even my partner (now my husband!), who was at first skeptical, cannot deny the results, and agreed with me to order the Men's formula (with prostate health-oriented herbs added) for him to try - and he is very attached to his current supplements.

I am 55 and take this as a replacement for my multi-vitamin and the herbs I took for menopause. I have been thrilled with this product.
